Chris discovered a few minutes ago that WAMP supports compression. Crossbar, the WAMP server we used, has compression turned off by default, so we enabled it and restarted Crossbar a few minutes ago.

The bandwidth usage declined by 95%. Feel free to reply and comment on your experience with the live data.

Will that help to catch up all the shares from all day today that haven't credited?

Either way it's a huge gain from compression, great news.

Chris will look into this, but I'm not sure exactly what the symptoms of this problem are. Are there rejected shares? I know that the database was behind earlier, but it caught up.

Maybe Chris has already found more information. I'll go ask him.

Oh good god yeah there rejected shares all day, moment I'll attach an example of what I've been dealing with . . cant figure out how to post it here, I'll send it to contacts@prohashing.com for now . . thanks for follow-up
