127.0.0.1 is the local IP, so the error is within the miner itself rather than the pool. I interpret the error as the the mining software cannot connect to the hardware. This could be due to a hardware failure. Did you change any hardware configuration?

Thanks Chris...Yes, I changed the power supply unit a couple weeks ago but it worked fine after that and this happend unexpectedly while the machine was running.

I am not a technical guy so please spare my ignorance, i got this from a friend and he configured it for me so not sure of the technical details.

I opened the box last night and see the lights are on, should it be continuously on or should it blink(on/off) as i remember it was blinking earlier.

Kindly let me know if you any need any further details. Thanks again

Just to add - i read this online, where they say it happens when the CGIMiner code is failing, reflash your img with an updated version! It should fix your problem.

Will proceed only after your opinion, also how do i reflash the image, what software would you suggest. Thanks

Flashing lights on the A2 means its not mining. When they turn solid it is mining.. I owned a few A2s.. It sounds like you have a problem either with your network settings or maybe a bad image on the sd card.. When you open up the settings what software is it running. This is the best software for the A2 and the latest AnxA2-09012015.zip you can download it here.

Hope that link works.. if not let me know..Also I can flash you a SD card if you want to mail me one I have the image on my computer but if you have a mac its easy to flash using apple pi baker a free program. but windows I dont know how to do it.

I don't know if this is running on a Raspberry Pi, but from running Zeusminers on a Raspberry Pi, I found it was very easy to corrupt SD cards if there is any sort of unexpected power interruption. I agree with CritterDog; the first thing I would do is to rewrite the SD card.

Yes the A2 does run on a standard raspberry pi which is then plugged into a control board that connects all the cards and runs the fans. And one thing I noticed with all these miners you should use a high quality fast SD card class 10.

Thanks Both. I am not sure how to check if its running on Raspberry P1, how do i check this?

I removed the SD Card and inserted it into my PC i see files named bootcode, kernel License.oracle etc is this what you were referring to.

CritterDog - i was able to download the AnxA2-09012015 software from the link you sent, what do i do next? do i save this zip file on my SD card and run it? should i delete all the files on the SD card?...like you can tell i am not IT savvy so thanks for understanding.

Hi, I would leave that card alone and not erase anything on it.. I would get a new SD card and burn that image that you downloaded on a fresh new card.. I know how to do it on a Mac computer But I am not tech savy with Windows.. You can not just put the files on the card that will not work.. You must use a image burner program to do it.. On a Mac the program is called Apple Pi Baker that is what I use.. I am sure Windows has something similar but you might have to reserch that.. Here is a good SD card at a good price that I would recommend and dont do anything to the one you have yet.. And yes your miner has a rasberry pi unit..The little slot that holds the SD card is the Rasberry pi unit.. Here is link to get a new card to burn that image onto.
