5 chip gridseed
hello!
I have a gridseed I can't seem to get working with prohashing. Or maybe it is?
I'm using ./minerd --gc3355-detect -o stratum+tcp://prohashing.com:3333 -u myusername -p x --freq=838
and It shows shares happening:
[2016-05-09 23:35:59] Starting Stratum on stratum+tcp://prohashing.com:3333
[2016-05-09 23:35:59] 0: GC3355 chip mining thread started, in SINGLE mode

Is this what I should expect? I don't see hashing being reported from the website side. It shows my test box cpu with 30 KH/s but the gridseed reports zero. Any clue?
I tried bfg and cgminer also. seems the same.

looks like it's working now after I changed the d=512.

Re: 5 chip gridseed
nevermind. I'm guessing I didn't wait log enough for dynamic to work after reading the docs.

Re: 5 chip gridseed
Hi. I am not quite sure if you still have a problem - do you still need assistance?
For your information, reported hashrates will be inaccurate or even zero if you're not submitting shares very frequently, like if the difficulty is very high. The automatic difficulty should reduce your difficulty after a few minutes of seeing very few shares, but you will need to be patient. Or you can just use the static difficulty if you want. Be aware that while you cannot set a static difficulty lower than 512, the automatic difficulty can go as low as 32 if necessary.
