Good morning! A number of new features are very close to release. Here's an overview of what's been going on with the new features recently.
- First on the list is a number of new Coinbase payout options for existing coins. We'll be able to enable those because we have completed integration with Coinbase Pro, which allows us to transfer coins to Coinbase at no fee. Some of the ERC20 tokens that we don't offer currently at Coinbase have very high fees, and we could not earn any profit because the transaction fees to send them from our wallet to Coinbase were too high. These changes are finalized but have not yet been released because the mining servers need to be restarted first.
- Next, we plan to add eight new coins, including one that has been requested frequently - Shibu Inu. The code is ready for release, but is being held up by research and data entry into the database. These coins need data like the "contract ABI" that is difficult to find through Google searches.
- The code for ACH payouts has been finalized and is ready for release. Here, we're waiting for Dwolla, the payments provider, to respond to our E-Mails after their engineers have completed their required review and approval. Once they have done that, we can release immediately.
- Chia mining has a release candidate, but it can't be fully tested until the mining servers have been restarted. Once they have, Vance will begin a slow rollout before a widespread announcement next week.
We also have some other great things happening:
- We've been working with marketing agency Digital Silk to create a branding guide, to design a new logo and color scheme, to redesign the landing page and navigation, to perform SEO, and to start an ad campaign. This effort will be ongoing over the next several months, but a rough draft of a proposed logo is available elsewhere in the forums for your comments.
- Paula Godshall joined us on September 23 as the newest member of our team. Paula will be serving as a support engineer, and will be the first point of contact for all tickets. In October, you can expect us to begin four hours of "live support" daily, when you will be able to call or chat with Paula or whoever is on duty in real time.
- Until then, you should expect the quality of our customer service to decline temporarily, as we have hired 3 employees in the past 40 days, and training has been a significant drag on productivity. Once the employees are trained, the service quality will be much higher than it ever was before - at least until the next person is hired and we are back into training mode. As time goes on, new employees should take up a smaller proportion of the existing staff's manpower to train, and disrupt operations less. We apologize for the inconvenience.
- A significant number of new workers has joined the pool, nearing the record of 18,100 we hit in January 2018. We don't expect downtime like we had then, as our current design can support up to 250,000 workers. We'll be announcing who is bringing all these new workers in in the coming days.
