XVG Limitation question

Post by chasran01 » Wed Mar 17, 2021 12:18 pm

Greetings,

Would someone please clarify this? Consecutive as in, daily... no more than 6 being found by even if I have 20 miners... Or once I find 6 statically mining, period, that's it? How would it know? I've found 8 over two days part time mining, but none this morning. Wanted to understand the limitation more so. Thanks in advance and stay safe everyone!

Mining Notes
Verge only allows 6 consecutive blocks to be found for a single algorithm, which could lead to periodic disconnects when static mining when the limit is reached. Consider using Proswitching to maximize mining time instead.

Verge has multiple mining algorithms on its network, and their network limits that at most 6 blocks of the same algorithm can be found of the last 10 recent blocks.

If 6 of the last 10 blocks are found on the same algorithm, our pool set the algorithm into error because finding a 7th block would not confirm.
