There was a few hours of intermittent system downtime earlier today, which was caused by a failed release. The purpose of the release was to enable bitcoin PPLNS mining, but the release failed for an unknown reason and Chris decided to revert.
He'll try again tomorrow morning if he can determine the cause before then. No money was lost during the issues, and we apologize for the problem.

Re: System downtime earlier
This issue has been resolved. The cause of the issue was that a new failsafe to detect unreasonable prices caused some coins to go into error. Chris issued a release with a fix for the problem. No money was lost and things are back to normal.
