We're pleased to draw attention to a new release of the website, which just launched a few hours ago.
In this release, we completed major refactoring of the code, so that customers can load the site much more quickly. Previously, the entire site's HTML and Javascript was loaded when any page was visited. Now, customers load only a small amount of code, and the remainder downloads in the background while the loaded page is being viewed. This change improved the site's Google PageSpeed score from 13 to 30, and lowered the initial download size from 8MB to 1.03MB.
I plan to continue improving performance over the next few days to see if we can get even more optimizations out of the website.
