Downtime delayed until May 16

The system downtime that was originally scheduled for May 9-10 has been delayed until May 16-17.
The reason for the delay is that Comcast Enterprise requires a 30 day notice period for termination of an account. We were not aware that the service move involved terminating one account and creating another, and we had thought that what was actually happening was simply changing the location of the service on a single account. The company was not willing to waive the notice period.
If we had not delayed the installation of the new service, we would have ended up paying for the unused old location at the same time we were paying for the new location for an overlap of 13 days. By delaying installation, we reduced the overlap period to six days. At a cost of $110/day for service, that reduces wasted money.
