Vance has been hard at work on a new REST-based API, which is now available. Several customers have requested a REST API because it is compatible with their existing software. The API is also able to be added manually to external GPU switching software like Awesome Miner.
The REST API does not provide live data like the WAMP API does, and the WAMP API is preferred for new implementations.
