Discussion of development releases of Prohashing / Requests for features
Forum rules
The Development forum is for discussion of development releases of Prohashing and for feedback on the site, requests for features, etc.

While we can't promise we will be able to implement every feature request, we will give them each due consideration and do our best with the resources and staffing we have available.

Good morning!
  • A new website release will be issued today or tomorrow to improve some visual bugs. The changes will also include documentation for the "PPLNS mining statistics" table on the "Settings" page, which I forgot to include in the original release.
  • So far, Tether payouts have only had two miners add them to their payout proportions, so make sure to take advantage of this new feature!
  • One of our focuses this week will be on system configuration. In the past, I've always thought that most improvements in stability could be resolved by fixing code, but it turns out that we need to add additional system monitoring. The ZCash daemon, which always had orphan rates of around 5%, was found last night to be having so many orphans because its disks were overloaded by the Verge Lyra2REv2 daemon. Both of these coins are likely to significantly improve in profitability over the next few weeks as new, lower orphan rates are achieved. Some customers who solo mined these coins would also be disconnected periodically when they went into error due to the slow disks. By putting more hours into monitoring the system for issues like this, there is likely a lot of low-hanging fruit still present that can significantly improve our service quality.
