My mining rewards are down about ~20% since the update, even though the fees are now lower.
Are there any changes I need to have made /or supposed to make in my miner setting since the update?.

We're not aware of any widespread issues.
Could you provide more information about the problem? What is your username? What algorithms are you mining? What type of miners are you using?
Once we have more information, I'll be glad to review your specific circumstances to see what could be wrong.

I see you have discovered the error.
I have also seen my account has been ammended.
my support ticket can also now be closed (UST-6756)
