Anyone who has r= d= etc settings that are optimal for a2 Terminator miners? I have tried with quite a few r= settings but my miners seem to stop for some reason.
Tnx

I don't know about the "r=" setting yet but I when I did have mine set to a default difficulty I had it at "d=2048" and that worked best for me. Keep in mine that you should still experiment for what will work best for your network speed and set up. Use mine as a starting point and work from there.

tradewiz,
How often do the miners stop? I want to see if there is something on our end that might be contributing to the problem. Is that a common occurrence?

Thanks you for your email. Yes I get the following error messages, I dont have any R= settings in my password, just the name of the worker:
worker11
Currently mining Casinocoin (variable)
Work restart delay 0.0000s (variable)
Last work restart test 8:44:08 AM
Work restart penalty 100.000%
Assigned difficulty 16384
Optimal difficulty 16384 (variable)
Accepted hashrate 76.727 Mh/s
Connected 8:44:08 AM
Last difficulty retarget 2 minutes ago
Errors
This miner is not responding to work restart testing, so a suboptimal default value was chosen. Use the r= password argument to manually set a default value.
Report time 23 seconds ago
Any ideas? It does happen sometimes. I have tried to set the R= setting but the miners dont seem to like that.

I recently have had issues with my workers becomming "red" in the worker list and get the error this miner is not responding got work restart etc. I did not get that before. All my miners are A2 Terminators, and I use no config except n=workername. Overnight 2 of my 4 A2's had to be restarted after they stopped.... This is a new occurance, it used to be "hash and go" so to speak. Have you change some of the settings for the pool?

Good day,
After some experimenting with my personal machine seems to work best at "r=0.45". Please experiment with your personal machine at what works best for you but this would be a great starting point.
Thank you.

SUPER IMPORTANT!
If you are having a problem with the A2 not starting when you put more than one password argument make sure to have them all in with quotations. CGminer (as well as many other programs) will think you are done with what you are entering if it encounters a space in an argument. Example:
My password box is filled like so: "n=loszhor_2 d=2048 r=0.45"
NOTE: Depending on your A2 controla your password field may become blanked after starting with the quotations in the password. Check your version and try rebooting if you encounter the issue.
EDIT NOTE: For me the password field going blank does not affect my miner even though it shows as blank in my controla. As always, check what your own system reports. Check via Prohashings "Earnings" page.
