Upcoming work on the pool

There is some upcoming scheduled maintenance on the pool.
This afternoon, we expect to restart the mining servers to release a new version. The new version will include a number of fixes that attempt to address a memory leak that has been plaguing the system for months. Additionally, the new version will include support for the stex exchange. Stex is different than all other exchanges because it does not have a withdrawal API, so the only way we can use it is to sell coins there. Buying coins would create too many balances in too many coins, and require too much manual labor. Right now, all stex markets are in error because there is no buy price, an issue that will be resolved shortly.
On Tuesday, the annual database maintenance will occur. This year's maintenance will see the system upgraded from Postgres 9.6 to Postgres 11, with the purpose of the upgrade being the performance improvements available in Postgres 11. The downtime is expected to be about 12 hours.
