Chris correcting errors

Post by Steve Sokolowski » Wed Aug 08, 2018 5:37 pm

Chris is issuing a period of share corrections for the past hour, which should be pretty quick. When he released a new version of the share recorders to fix a charity mining issue, he didn't change a config value and all of the share recorders used the same ID. That led to the system trying to insert the same shares eight times.

One of the tasks that's been on our list for a while is cleaning up code so that config values are all in one place, so it's more difficult to make mistakes like this in the future. I've already done that for some parts of the system, but unfortunately the share inserters were yet to be addressed.
