Payout issues today

Post by Chris Sokolowski » Wed Jul 08, 2015 5:43 am

Some of the payouts will be delayed today. Cryptsy went offline for a few hours yesterday, and they are must still be restarting their servers because the withdrawals we requested still have not processed. As soon as their withdrawals process, I will pay out the coins.

Also, for the people who want to be paid in BitcoinPlus (XBC), I noticed that our payments have been failing for the past few days. I am correcting the issue right now, and payouts should occur soon.

Thanks for your patience.

Cryptsy was down for a while today, and I am not sure how this will affect our withdrawals.

I discovered that I installed the wrong fork of BitcoinPlus on our server - an older scrypt POW version and not the newer, unrelated POS version that Poloniex supports. The wallets were compatible, so we did not lose any money deposited to it.

I am willing to continue payouts in BitcoinPlus, but the problem is that they only offer Windows and Mac QT clients; there is no source repository for us to compile the coin on our Debian server. I paid out everyone who was owed money through the Windows client, but over the long term a Windows client is not practical. I won't be able to offer the coin unless I can find its source code. I would appreciate if someone could help find the repository. I have posted on Bitcointalk, but I haven't yet received a response.
