So can i mine here with quark?

So I currently mine Dime at http://dime.npool.org:2200/static/


My question is can i mine dime here and get payed out in dime or would you just pay a rate on the mhs like you do with scrypt

Right now we only support scrypt, so you couldn't mine DIME directly since it's a quark coin. We hope to support other algorithms in the future, in which case you could connect a Quark miner to directly mine DIME, but we don't have an estimate on when we will have other algorithms implemented.

It certainly could be. We need to pick one algorithm to work on first, and we chose to focus on X11 since it has the most coins. Just like with the exchanges, adding the second algorithm is the most challenging since it requires the most changes to the server and database. The third and any subsequent algorithms should then be easy to implement.
