hi so i am some what new to mining. i got guiminner and a nyancoin waller and joined the pool but when i put my info in guiminer and click start mining and comback after a while i have not gained anything.
[17:53:09] - Miner failed to start. Make sure you have the minerd executable and libraries in the same directory as nyancoin-qt.

Hi. I'm sorry I didn't see your post sooner.
It looks to me like you have some miner settings confused. The first thing to do is to make sure that you are using guiminer-scrypt, since guiminer only supports SHA-256.
I suggest looking at https://cryptocointalk.com/topic/399-ne ... windows-7/ if you want a tutorial on setting up guiminer-scrypt.
