Prohashing Mining Pool Forums

It seems since the last update to fix the low luck has really helped me out finding blocks, but I'm not sure if they payouts are correct or I am thinking they are payed out differently. Yesterday my total earned was $3.89 for the day, and I also found 4 blocks. 3 of the blocks had a value of less than $1, but the other one had a value of $4.30. Granted, this block was Orphaned, but from what I gathered on the info, I should still get paid out on those being in the pool. The other blocks alone should be right around $3.50 for the day. So in theory, i should have had somewhere between $7-$8 in value of blocks alone yesterday and i'm not seeing that on my payout.

Please let me know if I am understanding the "Value" field incorrectly, or if there is an issue with block payouts. I am mining on an L3+ and my username is phreakyq.

Unless you are in SOLO mode, you do not get anything for finding a BLOCK.

During the day you earn SHARES. When anyone in the pool finds a block the reward is split across all the shares earned.
If you find 0 blocks or 1000 blocks you will still get the same payout for the day when on pool mining vs solo ming.

Only SOLO gets to keep the blocks rewards..but then they ONLY get paid if they find blocks, and nothing the rest of the time.

Have to pick a side I'm afraid.
