Verge payouts delayed indefinitely
The Verge developers announced a hard fork, so we upgraded our daemon in preparation for the fork. That involved redownloading the blockchain and reindexing it, which usually takes up to 2 days.
However, the process is still ongoing for an unknown reason. Chris is investigating the cause, but he might have to contact the Verge developers. There is currently no ETA on when Verge payouts will occur. If he can't figure out the solution today, we will disable Verge for earning (it is already disabled for mining.)
Verge payouts will resume once the daemon finishes reindexing. We recommend those who wish to be paid sooner to select a different coin for payout. We ask that you do your part towards allowing the pool to focus on new features by not submitting support tickets about Verge payments - thanks in advance for that!

Re: Verge payouts delayed indefinitely
Updated: it looks like we can track the progress of Verge by looking at the block explorer and seeing what percentage of it is indexed. In this case, since we already have the transactions in our database, we want the "latest block" on the daemon to increase towards our indexed block number.
Chris suspects that the reason it is taking so long now is because the latest blocks are the largest.

Re: Verge payouts delayed indefinitely
I just got further information on this issue. It turns out that the cause of this problem is that the Verge client deletes the entire blockchain upon starting the upgrade, without prompting the user! That's why it is taking so long.
Chris will be contacting the Verge developers and asking why the daemon was designed that way. I imagine that every exchange is going to have its Verge markets locked for an extended period once they realize this issue.

This issue has now been resolved, although it may be a day before we are able to respond to and close all the tickets relating to payout issues with this coin.

Has Verge mining resumed as well?

Re: Verge payouts delayed indefinitely
Is there an issue again with Verge? Or payouts in general? I’m getting paid in verge and reddcoin and haven’t had a payout in days.
