How to ensure CGminer is working with prohashing?

Hi,

I have a few questions:
1. I've set up cgminer and under the earnings page it says Live worker status (1) - does that mean that it's working?
2. It seems to be changing between Verge, Litecoin and a few other coins - is this normal and why is it doing this?
3. I want to make a Litecoin address for payout, but I'm downloading the .bat file which might take a few days. Can I continue using cgminer to mine without entering my Litecoin address?

Thanks in advance! :3

depending on how much hash you are putting out, you may have plenty of time before you are forced a withdrawl.

1. yes that means a worker is connected, it's working if you see shares submitted after a while
2. autoswitching between most profitable coin is normal
3. if you're running your own wallet and it's downloading the blockchain then you don't need to wait for it to finish syncing, just get a receiving address and copy/paste it into the payout address for litecoin. you won't see your transactions until it is synced though. it might be quicker/easier to make a coinbase account
