Incorrect hashrate charts today

The hashrate charts for today will be incorrect. The system got behind early in the day, but all shares were inserted correctly after I made adjustments to more aggressively ban miners who had misconfigured their systems with the wrong algorithm. However, there is a bug in the hashrate calculation routine where it looks for periods of time when any shares were inserted, not when all shares have been inserted for that period. Because all the share inserters weren't behind by the same amount of time, the amount of hashrate inserted into the chart will be lower than usual. The "expected payouts" graph will also be inaccurate and will probably show below the litecoin/dash lines today, because it uses the hashrate data to calculate it.

We don't have time to fix this issue because we are concentrating on getting our new support and development infrastructure up as soon as possible. Just ignore the hashrate chart for that period on Sunday morning.

You said lower hashrate, not lower blocks found or lower coin values found than what they are right?

if we are earning $ / hashrate, and today there is only 1 hashrate instead of 100....doesnt that mean we get $/1 instead of $/100
wouldnt the lower hashrate in the system equate to a much higher chart payout than what we will actually earn?

I don't know. We'll see how it turns out, since Chris wrote that function. I'll ask him so I don't have to spend time looking it up.
