Hey guys,
New to the mining world and am trying it out with an A4 Dominator. I want to update the firmware, so I grabbed a new 8 GB SD Card. I am trying to use win32diskimager, but windows wants me to format the card first. When I do that, the capacity of the card is only 7.37 and it needs to 7.40. I get "Not enough space on disk: 155233840 sectors available:15415296 sectors - Sector size 512. What am I doing wrong?

an 8GB SD card is actually only 7.45~ish GB, due to the fact that the drive manufacturer will use one method of determining drive capacity whereas windows uses a different method. I say ish though because in reality, there are small discrepancies between drive manufacturers, likely why yours says 7.37 In regards to formatting your drive, what did you format it into? If you didn't do fat32, i'd recommend doing that, and seeing if it changes what it reads (i'm not sure it should... but you never know) if not, get a larger SD card.

Will the pi take a 16gb? For some reason I thought it needed to be 8. I tried fat 32 and now its 7.34 which is worse.

I am guessing you followed that guide up to that point.
Did you try to format the SD card as FAT and see if the program can write to it then?

There shouldn't be any reason it wouldn't understand 16gb
