"Share is above target" errors

Post by Steve Sokolowski » Mon Nov 10, 2014 9:28 am

Some miners receive "share is above target" errors that cause large numbers of rejected shares. A fix for the problem is in testing and will be released as soon as Chris completes his testing.

In the meantime, if you receive these errors, you can either wait between 10 and 15 minutes, after which they will resolve on their own, or you can set a static difficulty. I explain the exact reasons for the problem in the development forum.
