Prohashing Mining Pool Forums

I always seem to be below the median on expected earnings... I have a decent amount of hashing power (>15,000 mh/s) and low latency... any thoughts as to why? I would expect the law of large numbers would draw me to the center.

That is correct. 30 L3+ .... plan to have ~ 100 by February.

Not bad at all ...I am getting $80-85 ... x6 = ~$500 on average. I think that you are the same average.

Perfect example: Last night then pool profitability was 3.42 Cents for a median profitability of $513. I earned $482. How can I have latency in excess of 98% most of the day and still miss the median by 5-6%? Does not make sense to me at first glance.

Did you forget about pool FEE of 4.99% ?

I thought the profitability per 1 mh/s was with fees removed. No?

So, this could mean nothing, but you posted this on October 9th, yesterday would be October 8th, whereas the 3.42 cents states it was for october 7th (it's always a day behind)

As to the latency (or efficiency i assume you are talking about?) did you look at it every single 2 hours? or, rather, all the time since it's a rolling 2 hours?

For october 7th, i made $18.47.

Per the estimated 3.42 per mh, and i (not sure the average just going to go at the rated l3+ speed) have 504mh, i should have made 504x0.0342=$17.2368

So i'd say i did pretty good based off what it said i should have.

Right now I have a single L3+ turned on this pool and all my numbers seem to be in line with what I had calculated based upon the average expected payout I was seeing on the main page.
