Steve, the correct answer would be yes, the coin status is available via WSS, but its unsupported and undocumented, youre on your own. this is how the automated miners like Gestalt operate. maybe a good idea would be to somehow have a whitelist for special subscriptionsSteve Sokolowski wrote:No. However, we do provide APIs for miner-specific data, like balances and current hashrate. If gestalt operates like that, then he will be surprised to learn that all his software is broken now.GregoryGHarding wrote:Steve, the correct answer would be yes, the coin status is available via WSS, but its unsupported and undocumented, youre on your own. this is how the automated miners like Gestalt operate. maybe a good idea would be to somehow have a whitelist for special subscriptionsSteve Sokolowski wrote:No. However, we do provide APIs for miner-specific data, like balances and current hashrate. We didn't do it on purpose, but when you use unsupported APIs, they can change at any moment. That's why it's not supported, because we want to be able to keep changing it.
Plus, many of the figures, particularly the pricing, isn't valid for anyone else, as they can likely obtain different prices than we can.
