Really??? Scrypt MH/S/day profitability 2,3cent?

Post by Checker1 » Sat Sep 30, 2017 7:48 pm

Hi everyone!

i just spent lots of time today watching live profitability indicator an am just wondering from where this 2,32 cent are coming...

lowest what i could see today was round 2,6 cent, highest round 9 cent. pretty much (i would say 30% of the time) indicator was moving between 3,3 and 4,5 cent, not so often (maybe 20%) between 4,5 and 5,2 cent. in third place was range 2,7 to 3,3 cent (i think also nearly 20%). on top comes time with 5,2+ cent (15%, i think). last 15% i just would like to leave open, because i really did not wach this indicator all the time, so it can be that exactly this time it was under 2,6 cent...

but...

you dont have to be professor of mathematics to see that even if this last 15% was profitability 0 cent, even then it is impossible to reach average of 2,32 cent!!!

can anybody explain to me from where this average comes?

Thx!

This number is an error, and I'll ask Chris to update it later today.

The problem was that there was a bug that day that caused some miners to earn much less than they should have. Chris corrected the bug and issued payments to the miners, but this value wasn't corrected. I'll ask Chris to update it today.

Thanks for pointing this out!
