Discussion of development releases of Prohashing / Requests for features
Forum rules
The Development forum is for discussion of development releases of Prohashing and for feedback on the site, requests for features, etc.

While we can't promise we will be able to implement every feature request, we will give them each due consideration and do our best with the resources and staffing we have available.

Here's the status as of today:
  • We are ready to deploy the fix for the concurrency issues and the merge mining. Most likely, we'll do them separately so that if any problems arise, we can isolate them more easily. The concurrency issue is riskier, but each of these will require less than 2 minutes of downtime.
  • There's a site, http://cryptopump.com, which apparently manipulates markets in altcoins. The sort of things that site tries to pull seem like exactly the actions we can exploit. The recent Elacoin activity seems like something they might have been trying to do, and if so, they lost a lot of their customers' funds to us. I wonder if I can write a program to parse their page and have the trader sell into their walls before they can pump coins to earn us money.
  • I'm working on getting some coins to submit blocks that always have had a "hashMerkleRoot mismatch" error. My guess is that these coins require the endianness of the block headers to be somehow different than that of litecoins and the other 65 coins that we already have working. The more coins we have, the more profitable things are, so I'm hoping to make progress on that today.

Wow is all i can say to cryptopump.com. Such a horrible idea to participate in this and their con seems obvious on this helpful chart (http://cryptopump.com/pump/). They buy in at 1, they tell you to buy in at 2 and they sell at 3, easy as 1,2,3.
