I didn't think you made enough hashing on a GPU for scrypt to make it worth the cost of electricty.
at .25 MH I think you make like $0.02 per day USD?

I don't think it will cover the power to have the CPU on much less the card running at full tilt.

I don't pay for my electricity. Because i have low hashrate im looking for something easier to mine, im thinking about leaving it run like for 2 years until im 18 so i can cash out

As long as you understand video cards aren't made for 24-7 operation at full load. They only expect you to use it for 4 hours a day and during that not at max load all that often. Using it to mine will lessen the length of time you will find that card operational.

.02 a day X 30 days a month = .60 cents a month X 12 months = 7 dollars 20 cents for the year.
Not sure you can afford to replace the video card in a year's time on that either.

With the current increase with all the new hardware that has gone online recently and the explosion of the difficulties, I do not think its economical to mine coins with a video card. 2 or 3 months ago maybe, but not since the newest gen of hardware has come online, all the old adjustments are out the window. If you read an article you can make money in your spare time when not using your computer mining coins from 3 months ago, its likely that article is no longer valid.

Perhaps some X-11 mining if the card is good on that, but with the new Dashminers all going on line that door is closing also.

Good luck o7

Get ahold of inno and ask them? See if they give a warrenty?

It will probably run longer than it will make money.
So the real question to be asking isn't how long can the A4 inno is selling now last, but rather how long will I make money with it before it costs too much and I have to shut it off to save money?

Really? Asking cause someone told me that the motherboard wouldn't last close to 12 months ...

280 Mhs for 1050 watts for $1500. That just doesn't seem that good really. And you wont see them til mid-end of Oct or so?
I think you could get a used TITAN setup off ebay that would give over that hash rate for the same wattage for about that same price.

For that to be a new miner and have the stats, or possible worse stats than that of a 3-year old miner is kinda sad.
No matter how long they last, they don't seem very efficient to keep powered and will be the first set of miners to get turned off.

I'm pretty sure the A4s from inno are used , no??
I just wanna know if anyone has an estimated lifespan of the motherboard on these models.

Thanks
