I think we all discussed this a good few weeks ago, but since I've forgotten.
What is the limiting factor that is causing this? What would need done in the long term to fix it?
Where the coin selection algorithm changes its mind ~3 times a second and gives you a lot of restarts

The limiting factor is mining server performance. There used to be a few lines of code to prevent this from happening, but they were computationally intensive and we disabled them.
Once we can parallelize coin assignment, we'll be able to go back to the original algorithm, eliminating this problem. We'll be having a decision meeting to decide on the future of the project at 1:00pm EDT. If a decision is made to move forward, then we would hope to be able to fix this around Halloween.
