System downtime later today

Post by Steve Sokolowski » Sat Aug 26, 2017 12:19 pm

There will be some system downtime later today as Chris migrates the DDoS protection servers to a new system in order to resolve connectivity issues.

After the downtime ends, everyone will have to flush their DNS caches to see the new IP addresses. Or, you can wait until the old record expires.

Thanks for the ANN. I missed this kind of news in the past. An short "will be down for any time" is much better than an "sorry" after suprised downtime ;)

With prohashing there has not been a problem with either my Titan or Ants to failover automatically to a backup pool during downtime, scheduled or not.
