Gridseed mini USB 5 Chip Asic

Post by astralhead » Thu Aug 10, 2017 3:02 pm

Hi Prohashing Team,

i have connected my Gridseed Asic miner to prohashing and receive Shares.

I kept waiting for 45 minutes but cant submit shares cause difficulty is always 16k or 8k and never went less.
as my miner only is 333kh/s i would think a difficulty about 64 to 512 might work.

in an old support thread i found minimum d=512 has to be set.
i also tried d=1024

i start hashing and get 16k.

any ideas what i can do?

i am starting with "-d1024 n=gridseed" and my workername is always visible.
so i guess my password arguments get submitted.

Thanks for help!

if youre patient, with vardiff it will eventually find shares and drop to the best diff for the orbs

hi,

i had it running for about 1 hour and it found about 2 shares within this time.
once it went down to 8k
and restarted few minutes later at 16k again.

the fixed 2k works but is still to high for a constant amount of shares.
my miner is just to slow :)
nothing to blame at prohashing.

Thanks for your help!
