Solo Mining Multiple Coins - How to Get Payout in Mined Coins with No Conversions

Hi,
I want to solo mine various coins but I always want to get paid by having the coins sent to my coin wallet with no conversions to other coins. How do I set up my payout preferences to make sure my coins don't get converted to other coins for payout?

Thanks.

Hi gnode. Can you clarify what you want? Right now, using solo mining converts the merge-mined coins to what's in your payout proportions while the primary blocks are not converted. There is no way to get paid directly in merge-mined coins. Do you want the merge-mined coins to not be converted, or did you mean something else?

I'm talking about something else - not merged mine coins. Right now I have mined LYC and want to have my LYC coins sent to my LYC wallet address. But for example I also want to solo mine FLO and want to send solo mined FLO to my FLO wallet address. I don't want LYC to be converted to FLO for payout or FLO to be converted to LYC for payout. How do I set payout proportions etc to make sure each coin pays to its own wallet address with no conversions?

If you are solo mining, the only coins that are converted are the merge-mined coins. The primary coins are kept in whatever currency you mined. For example, if your payout proportion is 100% LYC and you have "c=Florincoin m=solo" as your password, then you will mine Florincoin and earn FLO for your found blocks while all your merge-mined coins will be converted to LYC. The only way that your primary blocks would be converted is if you specified a "c=" parameter but didn't use "m=solo".

So does that mean that when the balances of the primary coins reach their respective payout thresholds, those coins are then sent to the specified wallet addresses?

Yes. The balances of solo mined coins are treated no differently than if you were coin-switching.

No. We have a request to add the feature in the future, but all new features are delayed until multiple algorithms is completed and we are able to merge the two forks back into one.

There are a few issues that need to be resolved before we could add this feature:

1. The feature would likely result in people earning 100-200 different types of coins per day. We would need to mandate the entry of payout addresses for all the coins, which few people would be willing to do. One suggestion is that all solo mined coins without a payout address entered would be forfeit, but we would have to ask users what they think of that option before implementing it.

2. There would be an increase in workload to Chris in dealing with payout problems. Currently, most of the mined coins have no payouts. One suggestion is to increase the fee for this type of mining to 10% to deal with Chris's time, but that makes solo mining less attractive.

Thank you for answering.

Yes, too much fees and nobody want have the risk with less luck+orphaned and if luck going back,to pay too much.

What do you think about this:
Allow mining coins without adding an adress... And placing an donate button? So i think will many people spent there dust, which dont touch the threshold and many pennys are an dollar :-)

So can people using this feature and move coins away, which they dont want otherwise dont wont make an wallet for there.

This is a similar ask I've had - would be great if we could collectively come up with a customer specification.

Can we get a poll to find out how many people are using the solo option?
