Kinda just makes it look like every other new age cookie cutter site.

I know I am in the minority, and also that a screenshot probably doesn't do it justice...

I do like the new hash / P logo - very nice.

But the colour scheme / layout / darkness of the site....
It's not something I would want to spend any real time looking at.
It's gloomy.

Also, purple picture background with white text over it?
Not something I would have chosen.
I prefer being able to read things unhindered.

I think the darker sites are popular at the moment because "dark mode" is easier on the eyes than the bright white, especially when staring at a screen for any length of time. We have had a lot of people requesting dark mode, which requires a lot more development to make happen, so this was a compromise. Hopefully that sunset orange will make it less gloomy for you?

I've tried dark mode on some apps... briefly.
100% a light mode user.

I love the darker look and purple is my favorite color, so I'm all in on the redesign so far!
