If you have ideas about what type of advertising you would find effective, please make some suggestions!
Here are my suggestions, in order of my perceived effectiveness.
FIRST: Get you live payouts per algorithm listed as "Prohashing Scrypt" "Prohashing SHA-256" "Prohashing X11" etc on the larger lists that show profitability: Like:
https://whattomine.com/asic
https://whattomine.com/coins
Many people refer to these pages to see what they should mine, and if they see your automated algorithm payouts higher on the list than the other coins, they will go look you up. Note that NiceHash is listed this way. You already have an API for this and the traffic is directed at people who mine, and this really shows your strength. There are probably other sites like this, poke around.
SECOND: Get listed on
https://www.cryptocompare.com/mining/#/pools
When I started, this is where I selected my first pools. I ended up finding you in a forum somewhere and have NEVER gone back (except as a fail over). Being listed here, and asking your current users to rate you (I would leave a very detailed positive review) would make you known to people looking for a pool. Consider also writing a "Guide" for this website on "How to Mine XX" and use your pool as the example. (See guides on right side of web page.)
Also put yourself on this wiki:
https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Comparison_of_mining_pools
Poke around for other lists like this.
THIRD: Write some "content" like articles about the industry like this:
https://www.buybitcoinworldwide.com/mining/pools/
https://www.bitcoinmining.com/bitcoin-mining-pools/
https://99bitcoins.com/bitcoin-mining/b ... ing-pools/
and submit them to sites like the above. This will trigger nicely in Google searches and get you name out there.
FOURTH: Consider more traditional advertising on Crypto news sources like:
https://cointelegraph.com/
https://bitcoinist.com
https://www.coindesk.com
(The sites under topic three.)
Really, any source that pops up here:
https://news.google.com/topics/CAAqBwgK ... id=US%3Aen
Hope that helped.
