Chris, is it okay to keep solo mining? will you credit any missing coins if I do continue mining?

Hi gnode. If you want to keep solo mining, you can. I will change the balances at midnight each day until I fix the cause. Mining would actually help because the issue lies in confirming blocks, and it's much easier to diagnose when I can watch some blocks confirm.

Great I'll keep solo mining. BTW I did mine another 101 blocks of LYC earlier this evening.

Which Timezone?

Mined on 2.12.16 (ETC, Berlin) 5x Blocks, 2x rewardet

Sorry for the confusion. I mean midnight EST (UTC-5), which is the time zone to which everything in the pool is synchronized since that is where the servers are located.

Chris determined that this issue is a race condition, where some blocks are being lost because they are overwritten after being credited.

I proposed the exact solution to Chris, and he needs to write the code to implement it later today. I think that Chris will have no problem doing so and this issue should be eliminated soon.

1) I didn't get credit for all 90 LYC blocks solved on 12/1 -- missing 135,000 coins
2) I did get credit for all 101 all 101 LYC blocks solved on 12/2 -- Thanks!
3) My account balances don't agree in different views -- pay out eligible and total on lower right are different and there has been no payout

We determined the cause of the solo mining issue. There is a race condition in the parallelized code that confirms and credits the solo mined blocks, and because of the race condition, sometimes the code to credit miners does not execute. Steve and I have a fix and we should have it deployed today.

For yesterday's solo-mined balances, I know that they were all messed up this morning. I needed to wait for all of yesterday's solo mined blocks to confirm before i could change the balances, and at the time I went to sleep there were a few outstanding. I will fix yesterday's balances this afternoon since they all have confirmed. Once we have the code released, the balances will update in real-time as blocks get confirmed.

Okay good luck on getting the fix deployed. I mined another 365 blocks today and I'm still looking for the 135,000 coins from dec 1. Hopefully they will show up in my balance.
