My balance is always showing a negative number since the server downtime. Is this something you guys already know about?

Thanks for the report. I think this has to do with the issue we had with the payout data during the upgrade. I will have an answer in the next few hours.

Is this going to be fixed? I didn't get paid anything today and I can't tell how much I should get paid. I know that sometimes the pool pays late or skips a day but I can't see how to tell what I am owed at this point.

Today I got a payout and it doesn't correspond to anything that I can see anywhere but it clearly isn't what I should have been paid for the past two days. I think I will mine elsewhere until you get it sorted out.

hmmm... I just looked at your account and I see what you mean. I'm looking more into this right now. I apologize for not looking into this earlier - I had completely forgotten.

After looking at the balances, I determined that the system is overpaying you (and potentially others) every day. This overpayment results in a negative balance after the payout executes, and the negative balance is turned positive as you mine throughout the day. You aren't being cheated out of money, and as long as a user keeps mining, we as the pool owners aren't either.

That said, I definitely want to fix the issue, and I am looking through our code to find the cause. I haven't been successful yet, but I hope to find and resolve the cause this morning.

I tracked down the cause. When we did the database upgrade, the payout table got corrupted and I had to restore from backup. I did that restore on the 19th. After your first post about the balances not matching, I compared the restored table with the backup and noticed that 20 payouts were not restored. On the 22nd, I then did another restore of the payout table and confirmed that all the data is there. You must have been one of the people who had some of those 20 payouts, and as a result of them missing, you were overpaid between the 19th and 22nd. Now that the table is corrected, the payouts will match the earnings again for all future payouts.

It doesn't appear fixed though. Currently it says what I am owed is $3.31. I mined $3.24 on the 22nd before I switched pools. I never received a payout at all on the 21st. So it basically says I was never owed anything for the 21st despite mining the entire day? I can appreciate that if it was overpaying I wouldn't be due the entire amount that it says I earned on the 21st, but to calculate that I am owed nothing is plain wrong. I typically make between $5.50 and $7 a day. The only days when it potentially could have overpaid me were the days immediately following the database upgrade up until I stopped mining here. I was not overpaid an entire days worth of mining in those few days, and yet I was not paid for an entire days worth of mining on the 21st.

Let me run some queries and I'll get back to you on this. The queries should be able to show pretty easily whether there is an inconsistency between the shares and the earnings, but they could take a few hours to run.
