Re: Miner Setup Pics.
Found a few of the older pics from the starting days thought I would add a few more pics in.
First mining rig--2014 scrypt/X-11 dash mining. 12 750ti video cards.
2014--Upgraded Rig, added a 3rd set, spread them out to lower heat and get better cooling. 18 750ti video cards
2014--KNC titan setup goes online still running some cubes to this day and they still make profit daily.
3 titan rigs, 12 cubes, 10 still going in some capacity, 5 fully operating cubes currently hashing 400mh at 1100 watts.

you guys don't run your rigs in a sterile environment, huh?
Re: Miner Setup Pics.
Great pictures and nice setup. I run miners in two locations. I started out at my home by adding a 400 amp service and making a full 200 amp panel to run miners. I started running the old Bitcrane T110 units, then switched to the Spondoolies SP31s. Finally ended up with Bitmain. I run D3s, L3+, S9s and L-21s. The box that this picture shows was made out of OSB plywood with a cement board liner (fire and noise resistant). I use three 1000 cfm inline fans to pump fresh air (filtered) from under my home's crawlspace (cool) and into the box's front side, low. I then exhaust out the rear with 6,000 cfm worth of fans, spread across the back of the box (high) using insulated duct hosing (12" mostly). This set up works great, b/c I don't need AC and it's quiet (about 70 db).

Helotours--Can you show us a pic of the back side, I'd like to see how you mounted the power supplies or which ones you used to power all those.
I do love the compact housing design. Very well done.

Re: Miner Setup Pics.
Thanks. Regarding your setup, did you cut the tarp on the exhaust side to fit the fans? Did you have any problems with air recirculation? That's a great idea.AppleMiner wrote:Helotours--Can you show us a pic of the back side, I'd like to see how you mounted the power supplies or which ones you used to power all those.

Re: Miner Setup Pics.
I put an X big enough for the fans to fit through...used 2 rubber bands to seal off the tarp to the fan housing and then a 3rd one to roll the points down and put a single square around the outside of the fan to seal it and recess it a bit to make the exit tarp look pretty.
Anytime I need to clean, adjust or swap boards...3 rubber bands and it slides back out so it can be worked on.
And a bag of rubber bands...$1 should last me a year...or 3.

Regarding the power set up - I added a 200 amp panel to my existing service and set the panel up to run 4, 30 amp 220v and 4, 20 amp 220v circuits. I have one receptacle per circuit mounted in metal conduit along the wall. From there, I go with locking nema plugs to commercial type, metered PDUs. I had to replace some cables this AM, so the picture is a mess. I usually have the cords tied up and neat. I am running 43 miners out of this box which is 8'x4x4'AppleMiner wrote:Helotours--Can you show us a pic of the back side, I'd like to see how you mounted the power supplies or which ones you used to power all those.
