Hi 3moose,

The pool right now can't handle additional users due to performance limitations. We know the solution, but an investment of a lot of money would be necessary to solve them. We're currently evaluating whether that expansion would be profitable or not.

If we decide to expand, I expect that Halloween is a good estimate for when we would start to open the system to more accounts.

Thanks,

-Steve

Any updates to new registers? Is there a way to flush out inactive mining accounts? Looking to join the pool.

Inactive mining accounts don't really matter when it comes to closing registration due to the amount of active accounts.

Theoretically, if everyone with an inactive account came back all of the sudden, prohashing would likely overload.

Therefore, removing the inactive accounts and opening registration doesn't make sense when how many people who are registered does not matter. How many people who are actively using the service is what matters, and closing registration is only a "lets do what we can to not overload the system and hope a ton of people with inactive accounts don't suddenly start using the service again."
