Also do you know if the power supply is original in that machine? I know they came with cheap junk ones from china. I had to replace mine right out the box.. The one I pulled out didn't even have a label it was generic I guess.. But mine was tripping off when it would start to mine..This is not the same problem you are having but thought I would mention it

Hello CritterDog,
I bought a new SD Card with teh smae specifications as you mentioned and downloaded AnxA2-09012015 software. Also, downloaded Win32 Disk Imager and burnt the image on the SD card. Please suggest what i should do next? are there any chnages that i should make or just go insert the card back in the miner?
Thanks
Yogesh

The equivalent tool for Windows is Win32diskimager.CritterDog wrote:Hi, I would leave that card alone and not erase anything on it.. I would get a new SD card and burn that image that you downloaded on a fresh new card.. I know how to do it on a Mac computer But I am not tech savy with Windows.. You can not just put the files on the card that will not work.. You must use a image burner program to do it.. On a Mac the program is called Apple Pi Baker that is what I use.. I am sure Windows has something similar but you might have to reserch that.. Here is a good SD card at a good price that I would recommend and dont do anything to the one you have yet.. And yes your miner has a rasberry pi unit..The little slot that holds the SD card is the Rasberry pi unit.. Here is link to get a new card to burn that image onto.yogeshk wrote:Thanks Both. I am not sure how to check if its running on Raspberry P1, how do i check this?
I removed the SD Card and inserted it into my PC i see files named bootcode, kernel License.oracle etc is this what you were referring to.
CritterDog - i was able to download the AnxA2-09012015 software from the link you sent, what do i do next? do i save this zip file on my SD card and run it? should i delete all the files on the SD card?...like you can tell i am not IT savvy so thanks for understanding.

You'll need to unzip the file and get the *.IMG file out of there. Once you've freed the IMG file you can follow the instructions from Win32diskimager to burn the SD card.
I'm with CritterDog on Sandisk Ultra - these have been bulletproof and long lived. Buy two and burn a spare as well.

Hi
Was this ever resolved? I am having the same issue on my a4 dominator, 3 cards refusing to has, 1 only hashes when connected by itself
Miner stats say same thing: Error getting version for 127.0.0.1:4028 ERR: socket connect(127.0.0.1:4028) failed

I was getting that on my A4 until I fixed the DNS and made it the same as my Gateway IP.Hkct1 wrote:Hi
