The pool's maximum vardiff setting, which is currently 2048, will be rising to 4096 on October 23. The change will reduce CPU and disk usage and will allow us to determine what, if any, effect the setting has on miners.
Some Zeus miners do not perform well with high difficulties. You can override this change by seeing your password at d=[xxx] to keep a static difficulty. If you don't know or don't care about your difficulty, no action is necessary. Difficulty setting has no effect on pay, and most miners won't notice any difference.
