Have you considered setting up an entirely separate server for those interested in going solo like NH?
https://solo.nicehash.com/

I'd certainly like to play cryptolottery with my Titans at Prohashing.

I've never considered that, but it's an interesting idea. We would need to charge a fee to make it worthwhile, but since there would be no trading and no pay-per-share, the fee could be low. The challenge is that we're heistant to add new features because they have the tendency to break existing features and requiring lots of debugging. I will keep this in mind for a future feature.

Since this is fundamentally a different pool, on a different server, it wouldn't be breaking existing features. You would fork the code and have two versions. Keep your main fork for the public pool undisturbed for the time. You could make the solo version a beta, and given your currently stability, now is a good time fork this and try a beta solo pool.

The base coin switching logic, it seems, would stay the same. The miner would have to do more work tuning their machines, but that's the miner's problem.

It would be up to the miner to provide you wallet addresses for each coin type mined. If the miner didn't provide wallet addresses prior to mining the coin, then you would keep those mined coins. No need for proportional payouts - just one address per coin type the miner wants to take possession.

Does Nicehash solo mining mine all types of coins, even ones with no exchanges?

No - they are one coin per port and only offer three coins (LTC, BTC and DASH). You have the advantage of multi-coin through a single port.

Your single port/multi-coin feature would leave the miner with the need to sell their own coins, from each wallet, so you wouldn't care about exchanges.

This reduces your risk and exposure to price fluctuations and exchange availability, shifting it to the solo miner.

I'm happy to report that this feature will be available in the next release. It is programmed, and I am testing it right now on our development server. I will provide more information on how to use it as I complete the debugging.

Excited to see this new feature - what is your formal release cycle and/or do you have a estimated date?

Would be very glad to throw some Titan controllers at testing this.
