Earnings

Post by bengrootde93 » Wed Jul 13, 2016 1:33 am

Hello,
Tonight i tried mining in your pool for the first time.
I left it on for the night.
But it doesn't show any earnings in the earningstab.
It doesnt even show any hashrate history.

Does the charts have to updated still? or is there something wrong?

With regards,

Ben

Hi. Perhaps you could give me more information. It sounds like your miner didn't connect to the pool. What miner are you using, and what is the miner's log showing?

I am using cgminer 3.7.3 from kalroth.
The log shows that it found some blocks. 2 blocks were rejected tough.
Also my miner is showing around average 400 mh/s. Isnt that a tad high?

I am just a beginner tough. So it could be im just doing things wrong.

The live stats did show my worker.

Those hashrates look like SHA-256 hashrates. Are you using a SHA-256 miner? What hardware are you using? We only mine scrypt; if you attempt to submit SHA-256 shares, they will be rejected and your hashrate will be zero.

You can use cgminer scrypt, which is an older version. However, you can't make a profit with either SHA-256 or scrypt on a GPU - the market has moved on to ASICS that are an order of magnitude more efficient than GPUs. It would be better to point your GPU toward Ethereum if you want to earn money.
