I have a gridseed 80 which should top off at about 5MH/s, 6 if im lucky. I've been mining away about an hour now and for whatever reason i cant get more than 3MH/s (or at least thats what its telling me in the earnings page). Im not sure how this prohashing workds, due to the amount of times its switching coins. Dont get me wrong, i am getting payouts but im not hashing as fast as the asic can go.

Now i understand these work restart things, but my asic is a bit slow to spin up so all these restarts are crippling my hashing speed(i think). Could i set a higher difficulty to prevent this from happening? Or just a static coin to mine? I tried to mine just a specific coin but it kept changing anyway (which i think were just leftover shares from other blocks). This is a very interesting system you guys have and i already really like it, i just wish my other miners were available and i understood how the whole thing works.

Is your Prohashing user the same as your forums username? I'd like to look into this. My intuition is that your miner was not connected long enough to determine an accurate hashrate or restart time of your miner.
I also think the 4096 difficulty is too high for your miner. If you are using automatic difficulty, then you just have to remain connected longer so that the server reduces the target difficulty. If you are using manual difficulty, then you should set it to something lower so you submit shares more frequently.

I am running 3 gridseed blades but using a rasberry pi with minera. I manually set my difficulty to just 1024 for all 3 blade units combined and I am steady hashing at 15.84Mh/s.
