Share corrections
Our stratum server experienced a bug last night that caused some shares to be lost between 03:26:58 and 07:58:19. The cause was that we have a series of sanity checks in our database that pause share insertion when one of the limits is exceeded. In this case the mined weight of one share was over 100% due to a bug. We didn't notice that share insertion had been paused until about 07:30, by which point the mining server had run out of memory to store the shares and crashed. I have credited everyone for those 16280 seconds of missing shares by using the average earnings rate from 00:00:00 to 03:26:58. The corrections have already been applied. Again, I apologize for the inconvenience as we continue to improve our mining server.

Re: Share corrections
I think that on February 29, we got the last major issues out. There is still two problems Chris is going to release fixes for in about two hours: reassigning variable difficulties for some users, and miners having no coin assignments that causes about 0.2% rejected shares. The system should now be able to handle 5x the load it was able to before.
If later tonight you still have issues, then we probably aren't aware of them and you should definitely report them to us.

Re: Share corrections
There were more problems tonight that caused the server to crash. Steve can explain the exact issue since even I am unfamiliar with the cause, but we implemented a temporary workaround that will prevent the server from crashing. For the downtime today, I will be increasing all of today's earnings by 26.6% regardless of whether you were mining during the downtime.

Re: Share corrections
I am also Increasing March 4's balances by 23.72% to account for the missing shares on that day.
