Miner duplicate error
So when miner loses connection (ISP issue) and then automatically reconnects after short time, it spits out error, shows 2 workers and lists it as "duplicate". Now, I am not sure if it has impact on earnings? Most likely not but I find it a bit annoying to have duplicated workers although it's the same machine connecting after lost connection. Can this be somewhat fixed?

Re: Miner duplicate error
There is no impact on earnings, and the duplicate workers should be removed within one minute from the dashboard.

They usually remain on the dashboard for a much longer time than a minute. I haven't done any time tests, but I would say aprox 15-30 min or even longer. I can run a test if you need more specific information or evidence.

Have these issues been resolved now?Banished_Privateer wrote: ↑Sun May 02, 2021 7:46 pm They usually remain on the dashboard for a much longer time than a minute. We discovered that there must be some software out there that was calling undocumented API functions and overloading the live data server. We banned those IP addresses, and that seems to have resolved some of the weird connectivity issues some customers were reporting.

Re: Miner duplicate error
I moved to a place with good internet connection but I will run a fake 'connection lost' test to verify if issue is solved and let you know.
Re: Miner duplicate error
Jumping in here, I've had a duplicate worker for over 8 hours now. I've shut down my workers, hoping it will clear itself out, but it shouldn't take this long!
