Hey guys,
i am new at mining cypto coins and after some research i considered to mine solo and try my luck to get Ethereum Coins.
Mining with Full-Pay-Per-Share is working but i want to Mine solo.
I am using Prohashing with Awesome Miner.
Whatever i go to Worker configurator and selected under advanced options
- the mining mode to solo
- the Coin to Ethash and Ethereum
and got the following Ethash Worker configuration:
Connection URL: stratum+tcp://prohashing.com:3339
Username: Asaak1924
Password: a=ethash,c=ethereum,m=solo
btw: is there a safe button on this page? after reloading the site my worker configurations are again at FPPS.
whatever i created on Awesome Miner a new pool and the given information into it and create a new miner with following walk through:
New miner -> Managed Miner -> Algorithm (Ethereum) and Mining software (Phoenix Miner 5.5) -> The pool i selected with my previous created pool.
seems everything fine and after start the Miner I get the following error message in the console:
"[...] Eth: Loading pools from epools.txt
epools.txt: Invalid pool parameter in 'POOL: stratum+tcp://prohashing.com:3339, WAL: Asaak1924, PASS: a=ethash,c=ethereum,m=solo, PROTO: 2, ALLPOOLS: 1' [...]"
After that error message my miner start mining and everything looks good. Just at the Dashboard of Prohashing the Individual Worker says:
"Mining Mode Full-Pay-Per-Share
Algorithm Ethash
Coin Expanse
Average Hashrate 46.747 MH/s
Shares Last 2h 33
First Share 15:34 ago
Difficulty 0.25
Target Difficulty 0.25 (dynamic)
Minimum Difficulty Not Set
Restart Delay 1.198s"
Why is the Mining Mode there not changed?
Can someone help me ? i am doing it just for fun and i know it takes long to find a block but its still better then working 8 hours on my PC without using his capacity.
I hope someone can help me. Did i something wrong?

Re: Solo Mining does not work (Error)
So I thought it was Prohashing when i had this problem. Turns out that if you go to your pool settings, instead of entering the password as "a=ethash, c=expanse, m=solo" you should swap the comas with spaces...."a=ethash c=expanse m=solo"
That fixed the problem for me.
