There was a power outage at the server location, and we were informed that the extreme cold this week froze shut the regulator on the propane generator. That means that the only power available is the uninterruptible power supply (UPS).
Chris wanted to do a clean shutdown, but his car broke down and he won't be able to get home in time to connect to the server. Therefore, some time could be required to ensure that no data was lost. We are hoping that the power will come back on or they will be able to repair the generator before UPS power runs out. We'll keep everyone updated on the situation.
We're working to make sure that even if this incident is resolved without a problem, the generator issue will be fixed before Friday's blizzard.

It appears that the power came back online before the UPS failed. I'll talk to Chris to find out more. Thanks for your patience.
