- Today, Chris is going to restart the mining servers to add support for coins that are unique to the Bitthumb exchange. The restart will last about 5 minutes and will occur in about 5 hours.
- Work continues on the new website, with three developers now tasked with moving it quickly towards completion. We're still on target for a release around Memorial Day. Since the website is backwards-compatible with the existing database structure, we will run it in parallel with the old site for a while.
- Steven is working hard on the backend to make sure that minor bugs that generate support tickets are resolved. Make sure you consider him in your tips if you agree that system stability is improving, as his work is not currently as visible as that of the other employees.
- The TRON network is unstable and, despite tens of hours of work, we have not been able to determine why our daemon keeps getting disconnected and keeps sending invalid transactions. Unfortunately, we've decided that we have to reduce our support level for TRON so that we only correct payout issues on Saturdays. Please do not submit support tickets about TRON unless it is Sunday and your issue has not been resolved. If you require more reliable payouts, then we recommend that you select a different coin. Please let us know if you have experience with the TRON daemon and can assist in determining why it is so unstable.
- The major system downtime caused by the server relocation and upgrades has been scheduled for May 9. All services will be offline for about 24-36 hours, while we move the servers, reconfigure software, upgrade disks, upgrade the database, and perform the other tasks listed in the previous announcements about this topic.
- Digibyte appears to be on a massive rise due to something involving a pandemic contract tracing app. My research hasn't been able to figure out exactly what this app is about or what Digibyte has to do with it. If anyone has been able to get to the bottom of it, please let me know. In the meantime, all algorithms have very high profitability due to these high prices, so take advantage of it.

On the Digibyte tracing app, best I could get in a quick look was something about Rudy Bouwman working with the Dutch government on a Covid19 Alert App. From 4 days ago.

Also, read this from 3 hours ago.
"The Dutch government has abandoned its initial attempt to commission a Covid-19 contact tracing app after the final seven designs were dismissed as inadequate on privacy grounds."
