Some coins offline due to disk corruption

Post by Steve Sokolowski » Sun Sep 08, 2019 7:39 pm

A disk on one of the coin daemon servers became corrupted earlier today. Chris is working on repairing the corruption using automated tools, but he doesn't know what caused the disk to become corrupted and whether the automated tools can repair the disk. If he is unsuccessful, he will begin the process of restoring the wallets from backup and redownloading the blockchains.

About 20 coins are affected, including NewYorkCoin, ZCash, and Ethereum Classic. Unfortunately, there is no ETA on when these coins will be available again. It could be an hour, but if the blockchains need to be redownloaded, several days could be required.

Chris will keep everyone updated on his progress!
