What pool did you go to?CSZiggy wrote:I set mine for 100% tips for chris.
Then I moved my scrypt miners over to another pool that made me more money, and took PH off my failover backup pool lists.

In terms of making a profit, have you done any scenarios about which coin will rise fastest? The price of the coin is not going to make any difference to your PROFIT which is what you want.
Example:
Coin A - you have $2 worth and it rises 10% - when you sell you have $2.20
Coin B - you have $2 worth and it doubles - when you sell you have $4.00
From my limited research, Bitcoin CURRENTLY leads the market on gaining and quite often the most resistant to falling. This would be my logic for having a higher % in Bitcoin and lower % in other coins.
Other factors you need to consider:
1. How easy it is to trade / cash out.
2. Fees: eg transaction fees from the coin and the exchange, SEPA transfers, etc
3. Taxation consideration: Some coins may be considered "securities", others may be considered as assets, and some are lobbying to be considered as tokens. You will need to keep an eye on this, both in your jurisdiction and in the jurisdiction of the pool, exchange and any money transmission services.
I've probably forgotten one or two things, and there may be others I don't yet know about.
I hope that this helps you.
